I love capturing light in a box. A former film shooter I have converted to digital and enjoy using Photoshop, Corel Painter w/Wacom tablet, PhotoMatix for HDR imaging and other fun software programs to edit & enhance my images. Though the box is digital, my passion continues to grow along with my desire to participate in the symbiotic relationships we all share on this beautiful blue spinning ball. I grew up in Texas but my heart belongs to the Pacific Northwest now. Camping, friends, music festivals, travel and the backyard provide many opportunities to explore the beauty around us. Living in Oregon & Washington provides easy access to so many beautiful landscapes, mountains and forests to explore. Through my photography, I am able to record some of these blessed moments to share with you.

I like so many images of yours it's hard to pick just one....but that one up there that you have as the cover of Carlton is probably my favorite. Had to take a look at "your" waterfalls as the main picture looked like a familiar place.... and yes, it was where I thought it was! Pretty cool to have 11 waterfalls in a (if you didn't stop to take pictures) morning or afternoon! Very nice pictures and they took me back to a very nice day.....
